Twenty-four
staff members completed and turned in their surveys. Five staff members choose
all fives on their evaluations. None of the surveys were marked will all
ones. This survey does not reflect the
entire faculty. Many staff were absent because they were attending other
trainings.
The
survey indicated positive feedback for both team membership and communications.
However, decision making and risk taking received a negative rating. This
indicated few members felt that they could influence decisions and that risk
taking was not encouraged.
Other
survey items that received a close division of high and low ratings were:
distribution of leadership & resources, conflict management, support,
goals, and team purpose. In my opinion,
these areas need to be closely monitored to produce a more effective staff.
A
personal observation: if the five, abnormally high rated, surveys were voided,
the data would reflect a more realistic picture of the school’s effectiveness.
Data and surveys
are available for examination and evaluation.
Your response and feedback would be welcomed.
